Reviews
- Record doesn’t sound the best..better off listening to the MP3 tbh. Def more of a collectors item than anything.
- I’m happy to have this but the truth is it doesn’t sound “great”! There are maybe 2 tracks that sound pretty good and the rest are significantly more muffled sounding like someone covers your speakers with a towel. I have a higher-end Hi-Fi setup so it really shows the quality of a pressing. I think all the people saying it sounds “amazing” must have cheaper turntables like Crosley or lower tier Technics and most everything has that lower quality sound so there isn’t much difference in anything that’s played. So don’t buy this thinking your going to be impressed with the sound quality it’s really just a cool collector’s item.
- This really sold out within about 2 hours I wanna say. It is the first shaped vinyl I’ve acquired. It’s neat really. While I have no other live vinyl to compare it to the sound is really good. I just hope those that missed out do not start paying these wild prices. This was most certainly pressed in time for Valentines Day and there will more than likely be more made so just be patient with it.
- Edited 28 days agoI got very lucky to grab this release, it sold out so fast! I dont have any other shaped vinyl to compare it to, but I think it has a great sound quality. I have knocked off a star though for the awful PVC gatefold sleeve it came in (I have a personal vendetta against these I hate them). Apart from that, its a beautiful coloured pressing, with a great sound and was a perfect Valentines Day release.
- I am so glad I have this! They’re so cute and it sounds so beautiful. My only complaint is that it comes in a cheap plastic gatefold sleeve. A die-cut cardboard sleeve would have been better choice.
- Sounds great and is very beautiful!
It’s a shame about the packaging though. The plastic sleeve on mine came all ripped up, I would not recommend keeping it in the plastic sleeve long term anyways it will eventually stick to the vinyl and potentially stain it.
