    A little hint ...
Does someone notice where NALIN & KANE took instrumental theme for their "talkin' about" tune :)

Hello! This track is from 1983!! And yes, the bassline is out on the milky way, the synths are raw, it rattles, it is quirky and funky, very funky! This is what makes this classic so good and special. Love the vocal!!

I see all those reviews about the pressing quality and almost nothing about the song. The song is labeled Italo Disco, but for me it's on the extreme edges, still within the genre. It's also Electro Disco, but even then you can't say it's typical Electro in its time. Space Disco? Yes, that's completely acceptable for a 1983 song. But should we worry about labels? Certainly Spacer Woman stands out on her own. Take a step toward Italo and "Take a Chance" from Mr. Flagio comes to mind. Spacer Woman is a rare hard synth non-HI-NRG song that can connect with some imagination to UR's Final Frontier which is Electro and hails from the Techno scene. That particular song that came out 9 years later stands out in the same way that Spacer Woman stands out. I think it's no wonder that both remain so sought after.

The instrumental for me. Great production.....The vocal mix? Not so much.

this a great listen!! all of you complaining about the synth and bassline, "cheap" sounds...do you not realize that this track was made in 1983. Stemming from disco and the equipment they used was newly created. That "cheap sound" is vinyl with a vintage touch. Appreciate.

Awesome tune! A couple commenters believe that the instrumental would be better without the "cheap sounding" melody. Give me a break. A lot of people in the dance community are super pretentious. If you were at a club and the dj played the instrumental you would dance you liars!

there is a version with 6 minutes runtime and one with 7:23... what is missing at the shorter one?

I think it would have been better to leave the synth lead out of the Instrumental version, let the bassline take lead instead.

That would have been cool, whereas the cheap sounding synth lead that was used sounds, well, cheap.

Who cares though, the vocal mix is so good!

It will take years of listening and playing to find out which version is best...
