By far my favourite of the first three Box LP's. One foot in progressive rock, the other in New Wave/Synth Pop...works very nicely.
From what I recall, these guys were a full-blown progressive rock band during the very early 80's. When it came time to cut a deal and record, either the record company and/or management wanted them to alter their style a bit, and be less progressive sounding, and more contemporary. Skip ahead 30 years, and today The Box are doing it their way...diving head first into progressive rock. I had the chance to sample some of their recent material, and was impressed by what I heard.
