- Edited 10 years ago'So Sweet' is for me a pinnacle of '94 jungle. Played by Kenny Ken at Dreamscape 12, it appeared as nice chilled intermission in the middle of his set. As compared to the majority of intelligent or ambient jungle that was appearing at the time, this track isn't limited to one sub genre. It got played in many Ragga-Jungle, Jump-Up & Hardstep sets and even fits well in a '93 dark set for a nice bit of contrast. Also played during this time by Tango & Ratty, I'm sure even DJ SS dropped it in at least one of his sets in '94.
A highly underrated classic, still sounds fresh & crisp - Edited 11 years agoOne of the most unfathomably DEEP rollers of the era....it feels timeless too, as i am absolutely certain that 'Mystical Horns' would still tear up any modern dancefloor. Hard to believe this is 18 years old. Modern producers take note.
Man, i miss this sound in D&B...
