Going to add to the building chorus in regards to Resister. It's heartwarming to see it getting some love. Music Box was everywhere and rightly so, but Resister was just as good in its own way; deep and expressive unlike so many other records at the time. In hindsight, it's my goto on this EP.

Even though "Music box" is and always will be a classic and a track i used to play at 33 mixed witth dee-lite groove is in the heart as my party piece bitd .. for me this piece of wax is all about krust's "The resister" an amazing track which i first heard on one of the RAW Radio 101.0 FM shows back in mid 93' ..just superb with a lot of emotion poured into it .. which even to this day still moves me .. some elements of this track went on to feature in "Asian love dance" and can also be heard in the recently released "Arizona" on OKBRON Any true head should have this in their collection .. if not then surely purchase you won't be disappointed.

Fine examples of the earliest roots of drum & bass

What is the deal with the sound quality on "Music Box"? I have both the original and the remix record. Both records feature the original "Music Box" and both have the same exact sound quality issues. It sounds like they took a warn dub plate to record onto the full release vinyl, twice. What happened? The Music Box Remix and Resister tracks sound perfectly fine though.

The production quality on this is amazing for 1993. It sounds more polished than releases made by the same duo years later.

How does this record not have a comment yet?! While looking to replace my 'Music Box/Music Box Remix' record I stumbled upon this gem. Everyone is familiar with the legendary 'Music Box' tune but Krust's 'Resister' is absolutely blinding. Obviously this is the predecessor to his unreleased 'Asian Love Dance' record (which is pretty much this tune remixed). The opening sounds almost sound like sampled My Bloody Valentine guitar chords which drops into heavy heavy beats. Nice atmospherics later with haunting female vocals. Well ahead of it's time. If you can do without the Music Box remix I'd get this over that record any day of the week.
