- Edited 3 years agoif anyone could sell me a spare disc, inner sleeve, or baby poster in decent shape it would be very appreciated! message me!
- I found a fairly minty copy but there is no poster. Did all versions of this come with a poster? Thanks!
- It can be accepted that the soundscapes abruptly intersect with each other as opposed to being separate tracks divided by silence--it enhances unpredictability of sound and elevates unease from listening to this sound collage whose individual parts are quite unnerving to begin with.
What cannot be accepted is that the album includes dialogues and foley running over the soundscapes as opposed to clean audio i.e. the actual score. Big mistake, as this admixture breaks immersion into the sound and creates a cheap sense of an album being not much more than a sound rip of the film, arbitrarily cut into pieces some of which were left out to comply with vinyl record duration limit. Or that it isn't so much a score you're listening to but rather film itself that is running minimized, with only difference that you cannot bring up the video. - I never got a chance to compare it to the reissue, but this one sounds particularly intense and fun. The sound is transparent and clear, with lots of 3D stuff happening. Also, it's recorded on a very high volume so be warned - things can get scary pretty fast !
