Unique tune, funky, uplifting, very original and very very catchy, with a guitar riff and nice chords.
One of the best tracks in house music history that is still playable.

There was a surprisingly powerful Spanish electronica scene in the late 90s, supported by a number of specific clubs in some of the important cities, featuring techno, electro, drum n bass, all kind of experimentation influenced by France, by UK, by Chicago, and though it was not mainstream in any way, the underground following was quite strong (it was also the sweet years of the indie scene and the first big Spanish music festivals). One of the anthems of that scene is this fantastic edit of KC and the Sunshine Band's "Boogie Man", a bit Roule-like but less aggressive. Only three samples from the song, wise sequencing, and there you have it, an anthem. It even worked well outside of this country, as far as I know.

Years later, all these labels nearly or completely dissapeared, and all these talented people had to go out of the country. But you know that story already.
