I keep coming back to this one and it’s probably one of my favorite Tone Poet releases and easily my favorite Pacific Jazz title in the series. The performances are wonderful and as others have already stated, it sounds fantastic.

Another great remaster of a superb album. You can quite clearly hear the infamous Pacific Jazz edits with reverb clipping in the middle of a song on edits.

Awesome record and even better pressing. Highly recommend this one. I feel like this will be a hidden gem of the series when we look back on the Tone Poet's 5 years from now.

Flawless from front to back, like all of my Tone Poet releases.

Arrived with a large scratch on side 2. This is not uncommon for modern Blue Note pressings. They must be making a lot of money on 2nd purchases/replacements.
The Wolf and the Lion never had to hide behind a hat and dark glasses.

Arrived warped from Amazon. I'll replace it and update here.

Excellent remaster and worthy of the Tone Poet label. A sonic stunner, especially on horn speakers.

Amazing sound, amazing music. This is one of the top Tone Poet releases I've heard yet.
