Edited 13 days agoVery impressed with this! I had a standard version of this I traded in months ago and was kicking myself for it so I picked this up. Sounds great and the presentation is excellent, aboslutley love the color!
the price was definitely hard to swallow but upon getting it in my hands, i totally understand. the vinyl itself is heavy and looks gorgeous. it sounds amazing as well and perfectly complements the cover. the overall quality of the release is fantastic, from the sturdy jacket to the obi strip and even the gold foil stamp on the back. i am so glad i waited out for a color repress after considering the black pressing many times.- It's crazy how huge the difference between VMP pressing and the original. I've listened to the original pressing many times and didn't realize how much music got lost because of how bad the original pressing is. I feel like I am listening to a brand new album from Kacey. There is no comparison whatsoever. If you love Kacey's music, especially her first 3 albums, you won't regret grabbing this while it lasts. I am excited that I already have Pageant Material from VMP waiting to be played. Hopefully the rumor is true: Golden Hour is next. I would probably buy Star-crossed if VMP is pressing that.

VMP RESTOCK, $42. Sounds great too. Google VMP Kacey Musgraves Same Trailer- It was out of stock for awhile and now it's back. I have the original pressing but jumping in and buying this one based on everyone's glowing recommendations. Her first 3 albums are such a joy to listen to.
VMP with another home run! Everything about this release is top-quality. The jacket is fantastic and the foil accents are such a nice touch! The pressing itself is beautiful and the sound quality is absolutely amazing! Records that sound like this one are the reason I love vinyl so much!
This is definitely the best sounding record out of my entire Kacey Musgrave’s vinyl collection. I often find her vinyl releases to be missing something but with this one it is absolutely perfect. Also the photo does not do the pressing justice. This pressing is lovely! I can’t wait to see what the pageant Material pressing looks like from VMP. I would not mind a golden hour pressing as well if VMP wanted to do one😉
Admittedly I had never heard of Musgraves before listening to this VMP Essential. By the 5th track Blowin’ Smoke I was hooked. The vinyl itself sounds excellent.- As others have said. Incredible pressing. Compared it directly to the original pressing and it destroys it it every way.
