i really like this live set. i am not a big crowes fan but many of my friends are. i have seen them several times. i enjoyed this compilation of live cuts a great deal. the fidelity of the first song was not that great on my set. it picked up after that. everything really kicked in on the side b and pretty much kept going strong throughout. that includes the 7" as well. the green vinyl is pretty cool too.
All green vinyl purchased in Toronto. Printed in Czech Republic. Great live record, NOT A GREAT LIVE BLACK CROWES RECORD. Had the same thoughts about the shows last year. Great shows, not great Black Crowes shows.
Does anyone know if the pressing sold through retailers is the same as the one sold direct from the band's website? In other words, are both on green vinyl with a 7" or is the retail edition on black vinyl without the 7"?
Fantastic sounding performances on good clean sounding transparent green double vinyl, complete with 7" (neatly packaged like a mini album including inner dust sleeve) of two encore cover versions. A must have, not only for Crowes fans but for any fan of balls to the wall rock and roll. A near perfectly recorded audio representation of un apologetic strut and swagger.
