From the liner notes:
"Banteay Srey was created as part of the High Definition Video project "Recurring Cosmos," commissioned by SONY-PCL and directed by Fumahide Anami. The original recording for the soundtrack was made by Ken Caillat and Michael Hutchinson using the Spherical Sound process.
Both Mom's and Chao Nue were created for the choreographer Katsuko Orita and were performed in Tokyo in June 1990 as part of the dance piece "Pintafore Space."
Shing Kee is the systematic treatment of a short fragment of Schubert lieder as sung in English by Japanese pop singer Akiko Yano.
Gadberry's was recorded in concert July 6 1990 at Soundwork Northwest."

Reviews
- A brilliant album of mostly ambient electronic works. Highlights are Banteay Srey, Gadberry's and Chao Nue. Since the works are from different years there is much variety to keep from being monotonous. The finale, Chao Nue is a remarkable piece whose transformation from almost industrial noise to a slowly-breathing synth is one of the most beautiful moments I've heard in music.
I highly recommend this album for ambient and electronic fans, if not for Chao Nue alone.
