Reviews
- Edited 18 years agoWhether or not this ep is named after the small peaceful community of Seal Beach California,(a mere two hour drive from Jimmy LaValle's own home town of San Diego),I don't know, but if not,- then the comparisons are uncanny.
Both Seal Beach's (the city and the record)evoke an aura of calm inner sanctuary that cannot be described -only experienced, both are small in stature (Seal Beach the city barely stretching out for one square mile,Seal Beach the e.p. clocking in at just under half an hour) yet immense in spirit and character, and last but not least, both Seal Beach's are a little bit different each time that you visit them, and always for the better.
Kudos to Jimmy LaValle for having the vision, talent and purity of spirit to draw such a stunning parallel, whether intentional or not.
