Toubadou's dubut release, recorded live on the Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City in 1974.
The album boasts a unique blend of progressive rock, jazz fusion, funk and African worldbeat. It's a wild jam recorded in front of 55,000 outdoor concert goers and features the core members of the Ville Emard Blues Band as well as the awesome Doudou N'Diaye Rose (who's accompanied here with his band of a dozen beat musicians from Mali, Senegal & Togo). Definitely more eclectic than other Quebec proggers like Maneige or Solstice, but not more so than Sloche, Conventum or l'Infonie.

Toubabou released only 2 albums (this live set and 1975's studio effort)....now each highly coveted by prog, funk and Afro-beat collectors....now getting tough to find....even in Quebec.
