Edited 16 years agoWhen I first heard this tune I was in the middle of the dance floor in the Camden Palace in London, it was around 3am (probably), the place was packed with 2000 clubbers and I, among everybody else there, lost it to this one. The whole place erupted when this tune was played.
A subtle, squelchy acidic bassline underlies your typical trance 4/4, while a filtered choir-like vocal phases in and out during the build up to a sublime euphoric breakdown - beautifully simple piano melody gets layered with said haunting choir vocal again, and finally the crescendo arrives in the form of a wicked synth-stabbing riff that just build and builds and builds......and then dancefloor devastation ensues as the beat kicks in again and all hell breaks loose.
If you love trance music and you don't own this, give yourself a slap and then go track it down. Now.
