Show All 11 Reviews- did this come out in '79 all the magazine reviews, Sounds/NME etc are from january '80 john peel first played it then aswell
- Edited one year agoHello everyone, I have the very first pressing of this album (going by the matrix numbers etc). But on side 4, there is no number 4 on the label. Is this common? Thank you.
- Edited 2 years agoI believe this is the version I have, but I have yet to see a 24”x24” poster included that says devour. Did this come me with this release instead of the patch from the earlier version?
- Even though it is punk music (and great lyrics) don't mean that the pressing needs no care about the sound. Yer, the sound of the the vinyl is awful, too much high frequencies and hiss all along plus all the other artefacts. The sound is like they've used a CD as source or some compressed files from somewehre ... Terrible in these days what they sell too us collectors.
- Edited 3 years agowho cares abour what copy or pressing .. listen to the words...and listen again.. and then read the words.
This is of course, my opinion
not trying to offend collectors - once upon a time, punks had original musical ideas.............. and were pissed AT THE ACTUAL EVIL SHIT, NOT "OH WHY CAN'T I GET A TAX BREAK??"
- Was just about to mention that nobody has mentioned the free patch with the initial copies on release, but then i saw on this one.....https://www.discogs.com/Crass-Stations-Of-The-Crass/release/8575900 my one fell apart /rotted after being sewn to my old classic green mac in '79.
- Is there anybody to know something about a French release. I own just o n e vinyl without cover. ( Side 1 + 2 )
Print on center label reads:" MADE IN FRANCE". Grateful for any kind of information. 5HOUSE7 - Edited 5 years agoFirst pressings had a white cloth crass badge ( Red writing ) free inside . still have mine
