- Edited 11 years agoPlayed as the last track of the night for the closing party of the famous Omen Club (Frankfurt, 1998), "The Day After" alone is a track worth purchasing this double LP for, which was played in it's full 21 minute length literally an entire day after a party that had gone all night and well, for an entire weekend at that. It is a song which, in it's complete existence manages to define the comedown of a night so accurately. It's that moment when you begin to remember who you are and come to terms with the end of such extreme parties. It's that feeling you have when you step out into the sunlight and face the real world once again.
Forward thinking and innovative for it's time in 1995, as with all Harthouse records, the entire album gives great depth and personality to the genres of house and techno music, further defining the famous new sounds that were emerging from the heart of Germany during this time, including subtle trance vibes and quibbling dabbles of psychedelic hard house. Sven Vath and Stevie B-Zet collaborate to give their ultimate mood-abiding creation to the world of club music and play it loud for everybody to hear.
This is definitely a great double LP for the trance music historian, and any enthusiast of classic German house or techno music. There isn't really anything to dislike about this album if you always been into either the warm atmospheric sound of any B-Zet production, OR if you have always been a loyal fan to Sven Vath's absolutely amazing rave culture and worldly outlook on music.
