- Quality bit of plastic. Some noise on the run in to side A but that stops well before the song. Otherwise is clean & dynamic throughout.
'Cities In Dust'.....well, blow my cotton socks off. What a stunning cover: true enough to the original but Garbage have made it splendidly their own. it should be in the setlist for ever more.
Personally I would have led the disc with 'Blue Betty' first and 'Cities In Dust' leading the B side as they are the best tracks with 'Adam & Eve' and then 'Witness' falling behind, decent as they are.
IMHO...but that's just my opinion: it's their music. - Garbage always deliver and this certainly doesn’t disappoint. Not had any new b-sides from them for years and Blue Betty is up there with their best.
I think the 2 tracks on Side B are tracks from the NGNM sessions, but Adam and Eve sounds very much like a Strange Little Birds track to me.
I wish they’d still release 7”s for their single campaigns though.

Edited 7 months agoThis one is fantastic. Flat, clean and dynamic. Really nice depth/layering to the soundstage here. Cities in Dust is just awesome. This whole EP is a real treat for your ears. Snag this limited release if you spot it!
Absolutely incredible release. To have a favorite band cover another favorite band is out of this world. Between that and the other tracks, this is a gem in their catalog.
Maybe people will get smart and stop paying the resellers price. 4 songs and costs over 60 bucks shipped get real. This album is being sold on Ebay on average over $120. buyers need to say no to high prices and sit it out.- Edited 7 months agoLooks like they under estimated the US demand and over estimated the European demand. Sucks. Not sure I need this record bad enough to pay $30 in shipping charges.
Stun Volume continues to impress me with their Garbage releases. This EP sounds fantastic! A must have for any die hard Garbage fan.
I adore all four songs and the record sounds great. I love eps like this and I'm glad I was able to pick this up. I wish rsd had more releases like this.
