- Although I didn't fall in love with the music on this album, it was certainly much better musicianship and much better songwriting and recording quality than many other super expensive records from this era that are too often either very bland or even downright laughably poorly written, played, and recorded.
I did listen to this Mushroom album quite many times, and I saw the appeal in the music, but ultimately felt that I wouldn't put it on again to listen to for pleasure, but it was good enough to listen to so many times in order to see that it simply just didn't quite make the cut – unlike many of the aforementioned albums that often only get one listen, where I sometimes can't even finish a song before I skip to the next because it's so bad.
So, although I didn't fall in love with the music, it is a special album, and the music is also somewhat original, so I understand why some people enjoy it. - The inner sleeve is a solid paper sleeve (no hole cut in the center) and is 2-sided,credits and band members on one side, and song listings on the other side.Printed PATENT Nos. 1125555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.
