Reviews
- absolutely killer, the best arthur doyle and milford graves I’ve ever heard. Probably my top 10 of 2024
- Considering it, after repeated listening, and especialy for session March 11, 1976 : this is by far my favorite recording of both Arthur Doyle and Milford Graves at the peak of their wilderness. There's a powerful voodoo going on here. Definitively a quintessential document of what free jazz could be at its extreme.
Wonderful !! - Fantastic reissue package of vital music, great quality all around, highly recommended if you want to hear sounds that can DO something. Having heard this a few times, I've actually taken to playing sides C/D first, as sides A/B build up toward an incredible climax, imo, that is hard to top.
- not have been listening yet but you need this for the fabulous iconic cover alone.
thank you valerie wilmer
