Cat# 5054197296215 appears on each digisleeve rear, each disc face, and on booklet rear. The outer slipsleeve has no cat#.
Each digisleeve comes with cover image on front, just the cat# on sleeve rear, with track list, credits and images of single sleeves on the inside.

Made in Germany.
All CD tracks are presented in their original UK single version except where stated (CD2-13). Hence the versions found on CD1 are the same as found on "Discography (The Complete Singles Collection)".
However the following tracks offer an alternative version:
- CD1-8 "Always On My Mind" (4:04) has a longer fade-out by 10 seconds compared to any previously released version (the printed duration 3:54 is incorrect).
- CD1-18 "Was It Worth It?" (4:35) has a longer fade-out by 10 seconds compared to the original (the printed duration 4:23 is incorrect).
- CD2-8 "Se A Vida É" has a slightly longer (around 3 seconds) fade-out compared to any previously released version.
- CD2-9 "Single-Bilingual" has echo effects for some vocals ("Barcelona") that are not on the original single version.
- CD2-11: The first few seconds of "Somewhere" are different, and some vocal samples from the "West Side Story" movie have been removed.
- CD2-13 "New York City Boy" is an edit, 13 seconds shorter than the original US single version. The shorter version was also used on "PopArt (The Hits)".
- CD3-4 "Love Etc." is not the original single version, but the mix included for the first time on the "Yes / Further Listening 2008–2010" re-issue (the drums and bass don't stop at 2:23 as on the original versions).
- CD3-8 "Winner" is a slightly different mix, released for the first time on the "Elysium / Further Listening 2011–2012" reissue (the background orchestration is removed from the last minute of the song, and some other minor differences).
CD1-2 duration listed as 4:18 (actually 4:24), CD1-8 as 3:54 (4:04), CD1-18 as 4:23 (4:35).
About Blu-ray content:
- BD1-8: The video of "Always On My Mind" is not an actual upgrade of the original, but a re-creation made using parts of the remastered "It Couldn't Happen Here" film from 2020. A couple of shots and effects are different to the original version of the video because of that.
- BD1-14: The video of "Being Boring" mistakenly included is the previously unreleased censored U.S. version. A corrected disc was released a few months later and sent to anyone who requested it --> Smash (The Videos 1985-2020)
- BD1-27: The video of "Single-Bilingual" includes a slightly different mix of the audio compared with the original, the same mix that appears on CD2.

- Does anyone know if all box-sets contain the incorrect version of Being Boring or just the first batch?
- Holy cow the remastering on this set is absolutely dreadful! Everything sounds so muddied up with no high end. PopArt and Ultimate sound WAY better and have more dynamic range. If you were happy with the disappointingly muffled sound quality of "Hotspot", you'll probably like this.
- Edited one year agoHello, can anyone help? I was wondering if the blu ray discs have a specific region code. Since it’s a worldwide release, I assume it’s free area, but I’d like to check this information before buying this CD version.
- Do wish they would have included Absolutely Fabulous as a bonus video. It is now the only reason to keep the Various VHS.
- Edited one year agoReplacements are being offered (till September 1st) for the first Blu-Ray disc, correcting the version of the Being Boring video used (original uncensored instead of US censor version)
https://www.petshopboys.co.uk/blu-ray-replacement-202307 - And wtf was going on with single version of "How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously?", which was double A side with "Where The Streets Have No Name"? Parlophone? Anyone?
- Edited one year agoThe "radio edit" of "Vocal" was released on a bonus CD of the "Spex" magazine years ago, so it was commercially available before. The notes are not right about that...
- I'm bewildered that they have once again left off "How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously?". I understand the other omissions (non-UK singles, charity singles, etc) — but enough with leaving off SERIOUSLY! Seriously. Has the video mix ("you gotta have funk!") still not been released on CD, download, or streaming?
- Edited one year agoDecided to opt for this deluxe boxset rather than the vinyl collection as most (if not all?) PSB tracks were/are recorded digitally. To my ears, the CDs sound fine, as good as CDs can sound thoughI can't really tell the difference between the Further Listening remasters to these '2023' ones. What I am really enjoying about this mini boxset is the sound quality on the Blu-ray discs which is fantastic with a decent set of headphones - the extended Domino Dancing video edit is still superb sonically and possibly one of the Pet's finest moment. There are some wonderful moments on the Blu-ray extras disc but they probably could've squeezed on a few more extra tracks such as 'The Lost Room' which was recently released via the fan club(?) There are loads of hidden PSB gems like that which could be pulled together. Overall, I think this is a pretty decent collection and this is coming from someone who always preferred the Pet's b-sides to the more commercial efforts.
This is worth the asking price for the Blu-ray discs.
