Reviews
- ...all his albums before are probably better, but this is a theatre rock
masterpiece, the perfect antipode to "lamb lies down on broadway" (genesis)
of the same era, which shows a surprisingly varied alice within one album,
played by the fantastic band of lou reed's "rock'n'roll animal" (74)... - I have yet to find a good sounding vinyl of this album. I suppose the best are the original US pressings. Tha DVD Audio and the SHM cd ( Japan) sound great.
- This is such a great classic album.I remember this being the album that really turned me on to Alice Cooper's music. Been a fan ever since. I actually prefer solo Alice (which this is the first solo Alice album) to the original band material, though it is good too. Steven is one of the truly great Alice songs. 5 stars on this one.
