Notes

Synth Rock out of Kansas City. Limited to 5000 copies. "At Last" was recorded on a ½ inch, 8-track machine by Topper keyboardist Rudy Passonno in a popular club that the group owned called "Cosmos". They would track into the wee hours of the night, after the local hot spot would shut down for the evening.

Artisthead Music presents the official re-issue of the cult classic Topper album, "At Last", after 36 years, including two, previously unreleased songs. Originally released in 1977, with only 5000 copies printed, "At Last" quickly became a sought-after item and a rare find indeed. A must-have for collectors who've been seeking quality copies of this classic 70's album for decades, here it is.... At Last!

To the best of my knowledge, Topper only recorded this one album, a must-hear for mellotron fanatics. According to info. on the internet reportedly from Jimmy Hodges III, the album was recorded at least in part at Jim Hodges' club - probably the "Cosmo's" mentioned in the credits on the jacket back.

Most of the time, written information on a jacket is a downer, but in this case, it makes mine kind of interesting. "Given to me at Pol. Sci. Disco Feb. 11, 1978 From Ken Yarnell." Now if only I knew who Ken Yarnell is!
