- Air Liquide's HOMICIDAL DIARY returns them to their more ambient side, starting with the dense weight of the title track as it settles into a rough-hewn hip-hop rhythm. "MP8 (Fancy Version)," on the other hand, puts the beat right up front. The strange "Part Of The Process" loops a snippet of conversation for a weird and funky track, while "1st Piece Of Evidence" approaches with a beat-box like rhythm as it layers into a wailing chorus from a distant pop song. "2nd Piece Of Evidence" returns to some paranoid acid breaks, and "Initial Melody" takes a music box theme from _For a Few Dollars More_ and dubs it out. A thrilling change of direction for these guys.
