- Edited 11 months agoSorry to spoil the party here but this is absolutely idiotic. You have a legendary release with such a complicated release history as stated in the marketing text. Never before have all the tracks from the original vinyl release in 1998 and the CD from 2009 been compiled into a single release. And then in 2023 you finally do it, package it in a beautiful triple vinyl release, ONLY TO REDO THEM ALL?
The re-editing is so bad, some tracks aren't even recognizable. The 13 minute Evil Dub version was perfect and now it is a 9 and a half dubby, muddy mess. Burma Heights sounded so funky and airy in the 10 minute version and had such a clever, psychedelic start with its vocal sample. All gone now in favor of a lacklustre edit that just kicks off with no introduction whatsoever.
If you have heard this album already and you are familiar with the tracks: Don't buy! I think the album deserves a complete release with the original mixes. If you have never heard this album (and I can't believe I'm saying this as I'm usually a vinyl enthusiast): Get the CD from 2009 or stream it as the original versions there are way better. 
Unfortunately my Side A - Track 2 has a deep enough scratch out of the sleeve that there is a constant click through the majority of the track. Otherwise it's fantastic.
