today i listened to this album again... i bought the cd in 1997 and have not hear it for around 20 years. that is always exciting! back then it was not a favourite and i did not remember the music.
and now i am amazed! sure, it sounds little dated some moments, but in general it is timeless in my ears and i like it much more now than back then. this album comes from a time, when electronic musicans were more open and the music was not seperated in so many genres and subgenres...so you can here straight 4/4 techno and also breakbeats and ambientlike music.
i would describe it as electronica, not only acid or early techno as "neue frankfurter elektronikschule". it is quite experimental, but not in an unhearable or unpleasured way. cd 1 is more listening music, cd2 is more danceable, some tracks are without beats. for me it is a very creative output and quite unique in it's way. some tracks would work well as soundtrack music....so i am glad to revisit it, for sure not the last time. this is worth to check it out for all fans of analog electronica with open ears!
