Great album right here, Rick Wilhite delivering the goods yet again. Love the dirty mix down as well, all you laptopdj's using MP3's, CD's and FLAC should stay away from this one or deal with it. My personal favorite of 2011. Stay asleep.
Guys, what equipment did you used to listen to this LP? I used Transrotor La Rocca, Classe amps and B&W 800 D speakers, and I still think that the sound of this LP is much below the standards. It is nothing about what Rick choosed or how underground the music is, the quality of sounf is unaccepted. It might be bad pressing of vinyls, bad final mastering, but it is still just baaad.

Quality sound on this LP is good. The point here is that the sound texture can be dirty or very clean, following the tracks, but always choosen wisely by Rick Wilhite.
You can think it's sometimes really fucked up in the high frequencies ( Face C for exemple ), i myself think it had to be abused and it's nice like this. It's a certain form of art created or maybe just bad production, it's a point of view.
That reminds me of theo parrish's jb edit. One of my favourite track. Dirty groove.
For me : Very good work. A must have for all detroit house lovers.
And big respect to billy love for his amazing vocal works. love it.

Makotek, it's called underground music for a reason, it's not made for the masses. I take it you have not been listening to house music for a long time????. A future classic in the making here.
What's wrong with sound on this analog? The music is OK, but it sounds like coming from boombox... especially vocals are horrible.

I'm very happy with this purchase. besides the music the packaging is beautiful inside gatefold image is amazing. It's all these analog production items like technics 1200, shure m44-7, drum machines, mixers floating around his aquarium. Black paper sleeves, classy. Billy Love does alot of solid vocal work on this album. Moody, deep etc. the editing is purposefully dirty (feedback)... it's a high quality release. they are all amazing but Rick "The Godson" Wilhite is the underrated member of Three Chairs.
