Beautiful disks and the zoetrope effect is very cool. This is admittedly my first picture disc and I found the sound to be decent but not excellent. I did take one star off because there seems to be less dynamic range compared the regular LP, there's a bit more surface noise, and I'm sad that it doesn't come with the full album art (though I understand why it doesn't).

Well, my copy is not super bad, but there is a lot of pops and clicks on sides B, C, D (Side A is good). I know that it’s picture, but I know that picture disks can sound good.

I don’t think anybody buying this vinyl is expecting high sound quality. However, I have to say, it sounds pretty decent for a picture disc. Looks absolutely gorgeous tho.

My pressing finally came in today, 8/30/23, and I’m honestly blown away at how awesome these records look and sound. I’m using an Audio Technica AT-LP140XP and the sound is so crystal clear that you can’t even tell it’s a picture disc.

the records look cool, and is definitely a great album - but i wouldn't recommend having this release as the only way to listen to, as expected the surface noise is significant which is a shame because the actual music sounds pretty good!
