A2 is an excerpt from the very first, but turned down and unpublished album "Harmonic Decadence", recorded in 1978. The full album was only released in 2017 on CD (see Robert Schröder - D.MO Vol.4 (Harmonic Decadence)).
A3 features music from his composition Galaxie Cygnus-A made for the Ars Electronica 1982 as a background for an interview about this project.
A4 is taken from Robert Schröder - Galaxie Cygnus-A.
A5 is taken from Rüdiger Lorenz - Wonderflower.
A6 is taken from Daniel Arfib - Musique Numérique.
A7 is taken from Klaus Krüger - Zwischenmischung.
B1 to B5 are taken from a cassette called "Experiment 144" by E.S.S.P. / Dave Townsend.
B6 was a preview for the then to be released album Mark Shreeve - Assassin.
B7 was a preview for the then to be released album Carl Matthews - Iridescence, misspelt "Irridescence" on the insert.

Reviews
- I'm working through the tape now to identify individual tracks. The tape refuses to play properly even now.
- I have found that whereas my hi-fi casette deck cannot play these tapes an old cassette player (in my case a Ferguson from the last century) will play them. I'm yet to test this particular tape but I hope at least to be able to hear them.
- Edited 10 years agoWhile I was entering this cassette into the database I found that my copy of the cassette refused to play. The tape had become sticky. I contacted Mark Jenkins who was horrified to discover that his copy had degraded in the same way. I don't think that any of the other issues of Inkey$ is faulty in this way.
Clogwhistle.
