Sounds great. Musically, I rank it up there with their better stuff. I don't get the LP packaging design. I wish it was gatefold and the printed foldout poster is complete junkmail. They could have done a way better job.

There was zero reason for this to be 2LP. Some songs sounded great though. Feeling generous so 3 stars it is

Listening to this was like a firmware update. I already had the program, so…

Return to form for The Chemical Brothers in my opinion and this vinyl sounds fantastic! Miles did a great job on this one. The bass is monstrous so I can't imagine how the 45RPM 3 LP version can better it... A bit more volume perhaps?

Packaging is good. A gatefold and lined sleeves would have been a bonus but as it is the sleeve is glossy and good quality and the vinyl is flat and sounds good after a clean to get rid of residue and debris. You get printed inners along with a poster which is something.

Another great effort by the The Chemical Brothers on vinyl!

More of the same from the Chems. An improvement on No Geography, and anything is better than Born In The Echoes. At least this time i can listen to it all the way through. Let's not kid ourselves though, this isn't in the same league as Exit Planet Dust or Surrender.

Oh, and i feel that Tom & Ed should be banned from the old one line repeat - the last 2 tracks are up there with The Universe Sent Me from No Geography for shear vocal laziness.

Still, i make this my....sixth favourite Chemical Brothers album....maybe....

Their best since Surrender. With the exception of the radio-friendly, somewhat dull Beck collab, this is just gem after gem, both vintage Chem Bros and with a dash of newfound maturity (just listen to the live bass on The Weight, what a banger). Major contender for album of the year. Will leave you elated on that beautiful feeling.

10 albums in and a near 30 year career and still these guys are on it like a car bonnet. What a great album and what a great pressing (vinyl mastering by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios room 30). Discs are flat, quiet and clean as a whistle. Epic (and I do mean EPIC) soundstage; This is how this album is meant to be heard. Note: inner sleeves are not poly lined, so slip these beauties into a couple of protective sleeves to keep them pristine.

Is it worth its pretty steep price though? I don't mean to moan but do we get what we pay for?

Sounds pretty crisp and dynamic with no pops and clicks anywhere. Might be a little quiet compared to previous releases of theirs but no big issue.
