Reviews
- I’m listening to this now and feel extraordinarily lucky to have a copy. What an amazing version of this essential album.
- Edited 9 months agoThis is a really great sounding pressing -except- there is very apparent and nasty vocal sibilance on Nighttime. That song sounds much better on the original PVC issue, or the ‘Completed Masters’ disc as part of the Complete Third set. Update: I have since switched to a microline stylus, and the sibilance is gone!
- This was cut from the original analogue assembly reel, on the same lathe that cut the original test pressing. The recent repress from 2022 was NOT. Do you homework before you buy.
- Surprised this one isn't more collectable. The cut and packaging is incredible. Essential for any Big Star fan IMO.
