This is a gem of a record. Wonderful pressing, no issues here, lovely color blend. Its great to hear unreleased songs from Mark even though he wasn't around to flesh them out. His family did him justice with this. I Fucked It Up has been on constant rotation since the album dropped digitally. The vinyl sounds so much more full, great mastering on this release
I’m a huge longtime fan of Linkous/Sparklehorse and I’m surprised at just how cohesive and outstanding this album turned out to be. I was getting it regardless but it’s a properly fantastic set of songs. He’s missed. A real poet. Beautiful and dark.
They did a great job curating this.
This particular pressing is outstanding as well. Sounds full and clear. The white ‘Indy’ version was not that great, way more thin and had glitches throughout. This one is perfect, my copy at least.
