This is mostly garage and acid blues, essentially proto hard rock.

Temetnosce, And sure enough, b-side LP1 skips several times. I can take it back to my Record Store and get my $ back easy enough but may just suck it up as the rest of it is amazing. Record Store release on ltd pressing so unless they fix the remastering and re-press all will be affected. Thanks for the heads up.

Musically speaking, this is a great collection of psych rarities.

But buyer beware! There are an unknown (but apparently widespread) number of faulty presses due to a mastering problem. I've gone through two copies now and both skipped throughout the b-side of LP1. Still haven't heard back from Vanguard about a replacement.
