Notes

All tracks apart from 4 and 11 were recorded at the 10th Planet studios. The label was informed prior to release but did not change the artwork due to the expense involved in reprinting/sleeving the records and CDs that had already been manufactured.

Listening back 25 years later, it is no doubt a good release that have stood the test of time. To me it sounds more like deep Detroit Techno than Deep House.

Itty Bitty Pieces is one of the most beautiful techno tracks ever made. Great album!

After the Rains and Still L.I.F.E are sublime. A solid over album. As with most house and techno full lengths, listening to an album is like listening to a bunch of singles and doesn't have the cohesiveness or separation track to track to give the album the story to set it an elite album. But the songs themselves are very good by themselves and for 1997 you won't find much better deep house music. Jamie Read is not unknown to those who enjoy the path Larry Heard started. Very good album.
