Seems weird to me that no one has mentioned that this to me is an odd track for Warp to license. Yes I own about 90% of Warps releases from the start til around 1998 and I stand by what Im saying, to me its odd. That said Sweet Extasy is a great track

The whole record is one of my all time favourites. Uplifting house with a haunting, ethereal, element. Without a doubt, For me Mars Mix is the best B side ever.

It had just come out in 1992 when I heard straight away on The I Venti d'Azzuro show from Radio Rijswijk in Holland...but then I only had a tape recorder...ten years later I finally found the cd single but I did not know the France song I was looking for was called Sweet Extasy mix. I fell in love with that melody straight away and until today it remains for me one of the coolest...italo?,french? mediterranean?, house? -ish melodies I have ever heard! Nice to read there is more people agreeing with me!

The Saturn Mix is a very emotive piece of music. The tune starts with drawn out synth strings which give way to a thunderous bass drum which was/is very effective in a nightclub environment. Throughout the tune is carried along by a piano and organ stabs. Excellent tune in its day, and I understand Global Underground have recently included it on the GU2 mix CD. Excellent example of 1992 house, and for what its worth, in my all time top ten. Has similarties to Golden Girls - Kinetic and Way Out West - Ajare.

Sweet Extasy is one of the most uplifting electronic dance songs I have ever heard, it always puts me into a better mood after I listen to it, the track has a European sound that reminds me of a Mentos commercial for some reason. I never get tired of playing it, a very balanced tune. It has pianos rifts, horn melodies, flute sounds, drumbeat mini solos, sampled hand claps, ....sweeeeet..

A progressive trance track produced by Thomas Kukula and licensed exclusive from Sony Music Entertainment. Not really that what I like. But 1992 it was sure an interesting work, nowadays less than average for Warp...
Item which only completes my Warp record collection today.
