My copper copy is dead-silent and super-dynamic. Pressed very very quietly, but opens up incredibly when you crank it; plenty of low end. Amazing pressing.

My pressing sounds fantastic! Great range of dynamics and silent as a mouse. Fabulous packaging and artwork, too! One of my favorite records.

Love the album and the packaging, but the pressing is noisy. There are pops in the beginning and end of almost every song and sometimes during the quieter parts. I didn't expect much since the album is pretty long for one LP, but the dynamics are decent. If it wasn't for the noise this would be a great pressing!

If anyone is interested in trading a true copper pressing for the gold message me!

The copper looks amazing, the most beautiful record I own
Does anyone have pictures of the gold pressings some people got? I'm curious on how it looks

Unfortunately, mine turned out to be the mispressed gold and not the beautiful copper. Honestly, I'd recommend against buying this new if you want the copper; I'm beginning to get the impression a lot of the remaining copies are gold. That's just a hunch though.

What's worse though is that this is one of those records where the disc comes absolutely glued to the inside of its paper sleeve, no doubt riddled with static, and you end up playing Operation trying to get it out without scuffing it.

On the more pedantic side of things, honestly I think the art direction for this LP design was rushed. The graphic design for the lyrics poster is really iffy. I mean, the first thing that caught my eye looking at it was that "compromises" on I Believe was mistyped as "compriomises." But hey, the large version of the album cover on the other side is an awesome thing to be able to put on your wall, so that's something.

Really though, it just feels like a huge missed opportunity that so much great artistic photography was done for the promotion of this album but this awkward monochrome collage is the only way it was used in the LP. I can't help but think the back cover should've been one of those photos. Or, perhaps it could've been a gatefold with the "Blood and Butter" photo as a double-page spread. Or hell, a single cover was designed for almost every song on the album, so a classic square booklet with lyrics on one page and the corresponding photo for said track on the other? Just something to truly show off all that was done for this album, you know?

These come with a cute hype sticker now… which is annoying since I got it before they added the hype sticker lol

Sound: very good sound quality, but a bit low on volume, some surface noise noticeable, especially between tracks

It is dead silent! No background noise at all and it sounds amazing

mine is copper with golden streaks and its just so fucking beautiful like wow, and it sounds great too!
