Reviews
- Everything I have been waiting for.
This sounds absolutely stunning; par for the Kevin Gray course.
My favorite REM album, period.
When Bill Berry left, they made a serious statement.
It’s their last truly GREAT album. - What an actuallly beautiful album by R.E.M. I bought in on CD back in 1998 and disliked the album as it didn’t sound like R.E.M. I have to say the album is aging well and is now in my top 8 of R.E.M. albums. Solid pressing. 45 RPM would have been amazing.
- Another excellent Craft Recordings / REM reissue! My copy is mostly clean with a few visible scuffs that do not seem to affect playback. Both discs were nice and flat with no surface noise.
Based on the deadwax, this appears to be another reissue cut by Kevin Gray. While these are great sound records, I don’t know that I am hearing a huge difference from the CD version I’ve grown accustomed to for so many years.
Still, they are great sounding records and I’m thrilled to have acquired this pressing at a reasonable price to round out my REM studio album collection! - Edited one year agoToo bad they didn't release a triple vinyl with the 1999 live set that's included in the double cd/blu ray version....
