Boring uninventive mixes, but well pressed and with impactful low end.

Luke Slater "just some DJs"... You've made my day, sir :))
      (oh those retrograde fans! :))
but yes, both remixes are unconvincing (however, the original version is boring stuff too)

As we all know, tastes differ, but here I have to let Old Man have his say.
I've been a big Depeche Mode fan since 1982, but unfortunately what the guys are presenting to us here in the form of this maxi has nothing to do with Depeche Mode at all. For me these are just loveless mixes and money-making, what a shame :-(

I have to agree with others on this, just awful. I like remixes that take a song and elevate it to another level or extended versions. this junk is just some DJ's who took the titles of some decent songs, turn on the drum machine and let it run. There is no resemblance to the original work at all. In the future please stop letting children play with mixing boards.

I see that wagging tongue is coming, and that 12" will contain more mixes than this. I'm struggling to find a reason to pay over £20 plus p+p from the official store, but realise how vinyl production costs have gone up an awful lot. But I need to be able to afford to eat first and foremost...

My Lord. This is shockingly awful 😱. Truly bad. I can’t imagine this will be played in clubs - DM aren’t exactly a contemporary club act. So, where is it meant to be played ? Listening to it at home is a miserable experience. Hmm.
How the mighty have fallen ! I look up and can see the huge pile of 80s and 90s DM 12”s on my shelf and I know the majority of those are listenable and really good. This is going in the same pile but I can’t imagine its going to be pulled out again. At least not until it goes on ebay. What a waste of my money 😕

Dear Depeche Mode, is it so difficult just to create a normal EXTENDED VERSION like in the good old 80s? Nobody wants those fairground stomp mixes...
