Reviews
- my copy of this pressing great, but the mix is atrocious. bass so far in the back, mix is disproprtionately heavy on the right.
- This pressing seems very good to me. Low surface noise, true labels, thick vinyl (if you care about that). Clean cover art, quality cardboard cover. Took a chance given the dearth of reasonably priced options for this album and pleased I did. Sound quality on an LP12 with 1042 is very balanced, good clarity, nice soundstage.
- I took a chance on this pressing after deciding to get the album and every retailer was sold out of the latest remaster, and I'm so glad I did, I think it sounds incredible. Every instrument is heard in perfect clarity, even Elvin's brushwork comes right through... and nice heavy vinyl that is dead quiet, nothing like my UM/75th Anniv. 'Speak No Evil'.
- A brilliant album ruined by this horrible pressing. My perfectly clean NM copy sounds like the top end has been completely shaved off and the sound stage is flat and distorted. There are strange bursts of static that show up in the left channel as well. Avoid.
