I think the pressing sounds amazing. My only complaint is my second record is warped but it’s not effecting the sounds. Just get frustrated with brand new records arriving warped but that’s going to happen.

Some songs work drumless, and some are not really that good without the drums, but you just have to understand what this record is about.

Even in the songs that don't work that good it helps you hear all the other sounds more clearly, it gives you a different appreciation for the songs hearing things you never heard before.

Maybe this could have been included with the 10th anniversary edition half year ago, that way it would have felt less like a cash grab for some people. Anyways, nobody is forcing you to buy it, so...

The vinyl itself sounds great, just like any RAM vinyl. Nothing to complain there, great sound.

For the people asking why the hate, this is essentially the filler they include in deluxe CDs for the price for a full record

Even without the drums this album is timeless. Crazy how at instances I am waiting for certain breakbeats to start and then ... I hear a clearer guitar, flute, overdubbed vocals. A timeless record and a perfect antidote for the sickness that is this age of transhumanism.

Why so much hate on any particular album…. Why would anybody comment negatively on something they don’t have to buy??? who cares if any of us don’t like it? Not everyone listens to daft punk anyway. What’s wrong with you people. The community of this album sucks not the album.

As Mr. Cobain may have said: Drumless, Pointless. I'll wait for the bass only edition... as a cassette-single 'jelly-pack' with 'obi'.

Some tracks are ok and interesting to listen 2 others really are totally not made for this kind of treatment.
Pre ordered 2 copies and send them both back because it just did not feel right when I got it.

When I saw they just copied the innernotes with the drummers still mentioned in the booklet, I was done with it... They could have for the sake of it remove that... And also from a visual point, why not white vinyl to go with the white album art...

Daft Punk or what is left has become a milkcow.

I haven't bought, only streamed but I did have an opinion after listening, to my ears and music taste. I've got to question why? I'm a big fan of this album and artist in particular and love an instrumental but this is the worst thing imaginable. Boring. Some tracks are OK without the drums but dear God tracks such as loose yourself to dance are unlistenable as pure drudgery which is so far off the mark of the original. I'll not listen to this one again but hope your mileage varies. We don't have to all like the same thing every artist we admire releases and I'm boring with my wallet and ears on this one.

Interesting to read the comments here. No one ever argue about a reissue of an album that offers the exact same thing every time and how pointless it is to reissue such records (how many editions are there for "Thriller" or "The Dark Side Of The Moon" ?). But when something different is released as this drumless version, offering something new, something unheard before while still being some kind of reissue, many voices rise to express discontent. Why ?
Speaking for myself, I had only purchased the original album as downloaded files. And while I always wanted to get a physical copy of it, I never saw any benefit in purchasing something I already had. But when this drumless edition appeared, I thought "what a great opportunity to finally get a physical copy it is!"
This version of RAM is great and it gives room for vocals and all the instruments used to breathe and be heard in the absence of drums and percussion. Bass particularly. I'm very pleased to own a copy of this. And it sounds great on vinyl !
