- Universal have finally released a replacement (corrected) version of Disc 2. Runout numbers are: "5822155 www.zappa.com AO17345-01 manufactured by optimal media GmbH"
- Got that, but i was surprised that it was in a clamshell box. Thought the discs would be housed on a big LP-sized box like 200 Motels.
Apart from the expensive price, it's a great box. They should sell that for $50 for the CD version though. 
Anybody who gets this for Christmas and doesn't need or have the means to enjoy the Blu-ray Disc, I'd be happy to purchase that disc as a standalone.
Wish more artists would follow Alan Parsons Project, Pink Floyd etc. example and make a surround disc available as a standalone item. I'm looking at you, The Who, Frank Zappa Estate, etc : )
Anybody listened to CD 2 and realized how loud it is compared to just having heard CD 1? Clipping distortion? CD 3 fade in sounds the same as on the digital version. What do you think? Replacement disc available (CD 2)?
Edited one year agoOnly listened to the new 5.1 and the 1973 quad mixes on the blu ray so far - boy, they’re terrific.
