Reviews
- I am usually careful about calling records "masterpieces". But this is definitely one of those. Although this is not a geniune disco track, it's more like a pop song that utilizes your typical italo-disco gear. Anyway, the production team did an incredible job here. The arrangements are rich, with pianos, widely panned brass simulations (probably Roland D-50), even a bass solo on Side A. Lush, spacious reverbs and properly used delay effects complemented with double layered vocals. Good equalization. It feels like wandering along a river waterfront in a european capital city on an October night. The singer's heavy accent sure may ruin the impression for a native English speaker, but otherwise it's not annoying at all. A truly "one-of-a-kind" record.
