A stunning piece of soulful folk music - masterful production from Paul Butler (mostly known as a member of The Bees) making it sound as authentic sounding 70s soul as I've heard. In fact I've played it at a few parties and many can't believe it's from 2011.
What works so well is its simplicity from the guitar work (only using a coupe of chords) to the arrangement of flute and horns and of course the wonderfully poignant lyrics.
