This is hardcore as it's supposed to be! "Original Bad Boy" is awesome, featuring a super catchy piano riff to contrast with the no-nonsense stabs and bass. "Step Up General" goes hard with the breaks and ragga vibes, with distinctly sped-up vocals and some nice stab sequences. "Ruff" is okay but it does go on a bit, however the other two tracks are absolutely slamming! (pun unintended)

B side ''Step Up General'' is way off center pressed playing very elliptic. What a shame as it is a classic breakbeat track.
Does anyone have the same issue?

I love the sound of this ep,cut loud and roughly mix down, ruff is one of my all time favourite hardcore tracks, lucky for me it just didn’t go away, smashed on pirate and in clubs for at least 6 months,so that says something about this ep.

Red Alert and Mike Slammer under a different name. Typical Slammin' Vinyl business with ridiculously pitched up chipmunks. Original Bad Boy samples Hyper Go Go - "High". Ruff is kinda dark and doesn't have pianos or vocals like most their tunes.
