Yoshitoshi never fails to impress, educate and amaze. One minute they’re issuing uplifting house anthems the next deep progressive peak-time killers. Then there are left fielders like this terrific house cut, with seductive female vocals and remixes of truly noteworthy proportion. A classic first time round, 'Fly Away' is now madeover as a double-pack of new creation that are already being championed by some heavyweight tastemakers. Quality tech-house that matches swinging basslines with dubbed out beats and funky live instrumentation, there's little to choice between the handful of mixes, but for me it's Jinx's Live Disco Jam that fuses funk with house to near perfection.
