Near flawless LP by Pete and co. that makes it even more desirable due to its lack of a proper release back when. Every cut has it’s own flave but still cohesive as a whole. There didn’t strike me as one off put track on it. “Step Up” has gotta be my favorite pick on here and possibly favorite Pete related cut EVER even though it was masterminded by his familia Grap Luva. That joint has such a warm ethereal vibe to it with the reversed wah’d chords and swirling string harmonies that match perfectly. Grap, Rob O and co. voices lay perfectly over the beat. Perfect summer evening cut to mell out too.

Been looking for an original with the Haile Selassie cover for quite some time. I suppose it is technically considered a bootleg even though seemingly it was released under Pete Rock's jurisdiction. Anyways though, if anyone is looking to sell this release and wants to make a pretty penny, I would be willing to pay quite a bit, or discuss trade options. Peace.

I have a single LP with many instrumentals from the LP. I'll add it to the discogs.
