This is a good album, its good to hear it as soundtrack for mute movies, such as Buster Keaton movies, also a nice trip to the 19th century America, i know this is an album dedicated to Sci-fi, but i can´t avoid imagine those old victorian buildings holding Ghosts and other kind of shadowy suprises...after all there´s alot of dark tunes in this album. This is not a perfect album but its satisfying, and my favourite tracks are: "Free thinkers -the dream", "search for Sigmund Marx", "homing Device", "Dreams of dreams", "Mason´s relationship" and "Free thinkers - the reality" these are the most melodic musics of this album, the rest of the musics are also good, they have a hypnotic effect, there 3 tracks wich i find them more agressive and very minimal, "human condensing" is one of them and for me is the less interesting music of this album...but this is the kind of tracks that will always appear in Jeff mills albums and i just have to accept it as part of Jeff´s signature.
like i said, its not a perfect album but its of high quality.
