What can I say other than what an amazing album for kids this is, and how lucky I am to have a copy of this record.

Not only is it extremely entertaining (in 3 of the songs the singers actively engage the listeners in games) but it is also very educational. There are songs and rhymes (mostly new ones, but also a few familiar favourites) about a wide variety of topics, thus expanding the child's vocabulary and teaching them about the world:

Track A1 introduces kids to a number of popular traditional nursery rhymes.

Track A2 teaches kids about how difficult it is to stand on one leg, involving them in a game.

Track A3 introduces kids to seagulls.

Track A4 teaches kids about how trains work.

Track A5 teaches kids about the ground.

Track A6 introduces kids to a traditional nursery rhyme, playing a game along to it.

Track A7 teaches kids about aeroplanes.

Track A8 introduces kids to elephants.

Track A9 teaches kids about how wiper blades work.

Track B1 introduces kids to the simple pleasure of singing.

Track B2 teaches kids about the weather.

Track B3 teaches kids about how things in nature grow, and the cycles of the year.

Track B4 introduces kids to a traditional nursery rhyme, playing a game along to it.

Track B5 teaches kids about the importance - and beauty - of having baths.

Track B6 teaches kids about how things change over time.

Track B7 teaches kids about spiders.

Track B8 sparks kids' imaginations by having them think about funny things.

Track B9 introduces kids to instrumental music.

A number of instruments (including piano) accompany the singing, and there are both synthesised sounds and real sounds mixed in.

A real classic. I very much hope that it will soon be rereleased on cd so that the next generation of children can enjoy this wonderfully entertaining and educational program.
