Peak Herbie...this record sets the bar for Jazz Funk. Starts off swinging for the fences and by the end you’re well beyond, the gas pedal is on the floor and you have blasted off into the stratosphere of cosmic funk.

Here we have nothing but an instant classic, something to be called as one of the best jazzfunk records ever made. I'm a longterm fan of mr. Hancock's compositions and whatever the mood I'm in, this is the one and only record that has an endless returning to my turntable. No record could start off as nicely as in this one, Hang Up Your Hang Ups being one of the best songs ever written. Highly recommended for anyone interested in funk music.
