Astonishingly noisy pressing. The record is visibly warped. The vinyl is visibly marked up and there are pops and ticks in places on both sides. This one is going back to Amazon with extreme prejudice. Roll of the dice again. Sounds like some people got decent copies so who knows?

Wow, my copy sounds incredible. Really happy with this. Super clean, flat, very quiet! Been really impressed with this reissue series. Happy to see this out in the wild

I ordered mine from NTX Vinyl and it's in perfect condition and sounds great! Amazon doesn't give a shit about the records they send out but you can take a gamble with them because you can send it right back.

This pressing is crap. A few songs sound good but most have serious sibilance issues or surface/ticking noise going on. Disappointed. Not how I want to spend my money. Does anyone know if the pink marble version sounds better than the black?

Got mine from Amazon US. Vinyl scuffed from paper inner sleeve but after cleaning it sounds full and plays mostly quiet. Some bad sibilance on side 2 though. A few pops in between songs. There were two copper marks in the grooves but doesn’t cause issue.

This and all the other Cake reissues I’ve received have sounded excellent. Couldn’t be happier to have all of these.

Had difficulty getting it on the table due to the undersized spindle hole and the record was pretty dirty. But, I'm happy to say, mine sounds fan-freaking-tastic. It wasn't the case with Prolonging The Magic, but I managed to snag one that is sonically excellent for this album.

Seems like this didn't get a Euro pressing unlike their previous re-releases. It doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the UK, such a shame.

Just opened my copy from Amazon US. Warped hot garbage with what appears to be label glue or some whitish adhesive pressed into the vinyl around the deadwax. Must not have been a good day at the Circle U ranch. Will see how a return pans out. Unfortunately Amazon UK doesn't have any Euro versions available right now.

Update: got a another copy today and it's at least playable but slightly noisy at times and still a bit warped. The cut itself is mostly decent but unfortunately not good to the last track. Take it All Away is a standout. It sounds really good. The trouble begins when you hit Palm of Your Hand. The vocals are pretty sibilant and I'm guessing this is partially due to the source material but whoever cut this made no effort to tame it for the vinyl. That's disappointing. Tougher Than It Is then has no sibilance but sounds a bit thin. Just a bummer ending to what could have been a great cut. Just as a check I decided to pull out my box set copy of PC and it has none of the sibilance.
