Z Records would like to thank:
The Sunburst Band and all the musicians and singers who have collaborated on this album -Michele, Tony, Julian, Thomas, Pete, Anna, Tim, Matt, Graham, Simon, Dave, Taka, Linda, Norma, Lucy, Paul, Jim. This album wouldn't exist without you guys! Doh! Ewan Kelly (aka Leatherfistinc) for his much needed doodles. The ever skilful Walter for his masterful mastering. Eddie & Keith at 3MV and Paul & Laura at Elevate.

Dave Lee would also especially like to thank:

My tormented engineer John O Donnell, tortured production assistant Chrissy T and long-suffering manager/partner Deirdra Robinson for all bravely being harrassed beyond the call of duty and putting and keeping this show on the road. Thanks also to mates Sean P, CJ Mac, Dimitri From Paris, Seamus Haji, Ashley Beedle, Ric Boneti and Co, Richard Barlow, Jeff Overton, Al Kent, DJ Northern Haigh and many others for turning me on to yet more new (old) music - keep the MP3's, tapes and tittle-tattle emails coming lads. Stevie, Geoff and Gay Sole. Not forgetting Steve Y for safely getting me to and fro my many gigs.

"The Boogie Assassin is back to kill again, this time with another longplayer from his Sunburst Band. Dave Lee aka Joey Negro is so annoying! Not only does he regularly outbid me at very, very rare Disco, soul and funk vinyl auctions, he also manages to make a damned great record incorporating all these sounds himself. Quite better than most of those in my collection actually (Which, need I say, is much bigger than his!).

No filtered 2 bar rubbish here, just pure live Disco, Boogie, Funk, Soul and Jazz- inspired numbers all funked up with a modern flourish - with lush instrumentation and the highest production standards too.

Hold on to this record. It'll probably be worth hundreds in future very rare, vinyl record auctions. And for a change Mr Lee won't be in the bidding."

The scarcer Japanese version adds 2 tracks. This is an outstanding CD even by Dave Lee's normally lofty standards. If you enjoyed his previous work under the names Sunburst Band or Joey Negro I strongly encourage you to buy this CD (or the vinyl box set if you can find it).

Dave Lee has to be called a veteran dance producer under his Joey Negro guise, and here the has regrouped The Sunburst Band for their second longplayer "Until the end of time". Here, Joey Negro goes for a full dose of dance grooves from the yesteryear, with contributions adding to the authenticity of the 70's legendary disco era by soulstress Linda Clifford and the first ladies of Chic, Norma Jean Wright and Lucy Martin. Another featured well known vocalist is Taka Boom. The result ist a modern interpretation of classic disco, boogie and funk.
